How do I set up allowlisting (whitelisting) for Microsoft?

Why do I need to do this?

Allowlisting our IP addresses and domains is necessary to ensure that our phishing emails reach your inboxes and are not automatically filtered out by your spam filter.

How does it work?

1. Click on “Settings” on the left panel.
2. Click on “Simulations” at the top.

3. Scroll down and select the appropriate whitelisting guide at the bottom right.

4. “Open guide” and follow the steps shown.

• If you are a Microsoft client, it is possible to run a PowerShell script quickly and easily.

5. We then recommend configuring some standard test emails to ensure that the Whitelisting is properly configured.

a) You can do this by going into Simulations in the left panel, press Create simulation, select One-off simulation, input a name, audience, Mark as test simulation, and select create simulation. No email will be sent at this point. 

b) Then click on Send test. We recommend you click this several times to get different test emails and make sure they all go through to your inbox (check your spam folder and spam filter as needed if they get stopped). The reason to do this several times is that it will ensure emails from different domains and with different types of content will be tested.
