What if an employee clicks on a phishing email from Moxso?

This guide gives you insight into cases where employees click on a link in a phishing Simulation

Fortunately, nothing happens if someone at your company clicks the link in a phishing email from Moxso - it's a completely safe training process to help each individual become better at spotting fake emails. However, if it was a real threat, a single click could give hackers access to systems, data or accounts. That's why it's important to be vigilant every time.

When clicking, the employee will be redirected to a page telling them this was phishing training, and their hub will be updated to reflect this.

On the admin side, each click will be logged into the Moxso platform under the Analytics data points. The employees who consistently click into links in Simulations will get a lower and lower resilience score and will appear in the list of Employees at risk under the top resilience tab under Analytics. Following our algorithm logic they will also receive a higher cadence of Simulations to improve their awareness.

Additionally, it is important to see your journey with Moxso as a continuous shift in company culture and employee behaviour, so every click will lead to an increased consciousness regarding cybersecurity risks moving forward.
